They asked him who recruited him and who was at the top with Miami.
They listed Ohio state, Oregon, snd the first thing he said is “I was VERY close to going to Tennessee…” and this clearly was a surprise to Big Cat and PFT.
He talked about coming to the Georgia game (I think 2013) and he described how Neyland Stadium was basically the coolest thing he had ever experienced, and he was about to commit to Tennessee. Went on and on about UT and the parting of the T and how awesome everything was.
He said the reason he ended up choosing Miami was because his dad is from Miami, and he grew up a Canes fan, and that was basically the only reason he did.
Anyway, he was just very complimentary of UT in general and especially Neyland, the atmosphere, fans, etc., and thought I’d share.
