How real is the possibility that Azzani could get the Central Michigan HC job? And how big of a blow would that be to us right here before signing day?
Along that same line, several have mentioned the fact that he would be a candidate to step into the OC job but may not be ready for such a move. Which begs the question: If he's not ready to be an OC, then how in the heck is he ready to be a HC? Doesn't make sense.
If Azzani is a viable HC candidate, then why not just promote him now to OC and be done with it? It looks like that would keep possible recruiting defections down, plus IMO it would be easier to fill a position coach opening than OC.
