1) Big surprise of day 1 is Bryson Eason repping with the 1's out the gate. I get its day 1, but you dont generally see a guy who has done nothing at a position trot out with the first team when there are multiple veterans whove played a lot at that spot, even on day 1 of no pads. Your thoughts on that?
2) Tyree West is lighter than I thought. Do you think his long term home is SDE? Clearly it is this season. Tell me he's the next Derek Barnett lol.
3) Your thoughts on Bumphus IF he can stay healthy? Kid looks like a player to me if healthy.
4) Do I need to give up on Elijah Simmons being a consistent performer and run stuffer?
Lots of ifs.....if Eason being 1st team caliber is legit, if Young takes that step, if Baron bounces back to the promise he showed year 1, if Bumphus stays healthy, if West is a legit guy.....but it just feels like there is some potential in the group to me. This group will determine how much better we are, if at all, defensively. It's on them.
