Brent mentioned in the 2MD and Jesse reiterated in a reply about the idea that multiple players could work their way into either more PT or even a starting job by/immediately after the UF game.
I understand the idea that certain players, especially JUCOs like Jahmir, guys coming off injuries like Calbert, or even non-EE true freshmen like Thompson, can need some more time to get truly ready to play. And the idea I get (and correct me if I’m wrong) is that guys like the above and maybe some others - Flowers and Carvin as two other examples - are simply more talented than some guys who have been here longer but due to experience are likely to start vs WVU. But if so, why would that be? Especially for a guy like Pruitt who, at least as a DC, has been willing to play talent over experience plenty of times. That is, if the guys above are more talented don’t we need them to win a game like WVU?
I obviously could be misunderstanding the point y’all are making, but could you clarify and give your respective thoughts on the strategy if I’m reading you right?
Thanks as always @Brent_Hubbs @Austin_Price @Jesse_Simonton
