On SiriusXM's ESPNU Radio, with Taylor Zarzour and Greg McElroy, Butch came on to provide insights into AL vs. GA and did a great job breaking down the game. Thinks it will be close, believes Jalen Hurts is the tie-breaker, also thinks it could come down to a special teams play.
These guys obviously like Butch and didn't grill him too much on "what went wrong at UT?" Greg asked the general question, and Butch did lament injuries but focused more on the good things of his UT tenure....the academics improvements, the three bowl wins, etc. Said nothing negative and kept it very light and professional.
He ended by saying he had learned a lot that he will take to his next job and will do some things differently. Nothing specific, but good to hear him semi-admit that he did some things wrong.
