Injuries aside (and that is a huge aside), few can argue that Butch's teams the last two years have underperformed. My litmus test for his abilities will be whether he can get this year's team to over-perform. I anticipate losses to Bama, LSU and one of UF or UGA and that would be just fine with me. Any more surprise losses and it is time to move on.
Against my sworn promise to myself after the game vs. South Carolina, I renewed my season seats on the 45 yard line this year. Anything less than 9 wins will put me over the edge, and I will save my money and watch on TV.
That said, I really like many aspects of this team for which I foresee good things.
