I talked with Casey Clausen recently for an upcoming feature on his Tennessee playing days and also Jimmy Clausen's recruitment, etc. Here are Clausen's thoughts on Butch Jones' job at Tennessee so far on the heels of landing 2017 five-star QB Hunter Johnson today:
"We try to get out there once a year," Clausen said. "The last three or four years I’ve gone it’s usually the Florida game. Coach Jones has done a really good job of getting some juice back into that program, really embraced the ex-players and Tennessee needed some of that. The key to the game in college football is recruiting and I think they’ve done a great job the last few years of recruiting. He’s turning the program in the right direction."
