I would love to see Rivals or any other service re-rank recruiting classes 2 or 3 years in to factor in attrition. I am NOT AT ALL asking they update player evaluations or star ratings. Just use the evaluations you did out of high school and rate classes again based on players still on campus.
Case in point. Not asking they re-evaluate Dillon Bates. He'd still be in our numbers as a high 4 star.
I have asked this several times in the past, and I keep getting the answer that it's not fair to second guess their ratings. I agree, but that is not what I am asking. Just re-rate based on the players that are still there, those that haven't failed out, had criminal issues, been dismissed or just plain left.
All of this attrition discussion today reminded me of this idea. To me it is not so much how many players you lose but which players you lose.
I know I could do this myself in a spreadsheet but just seems like an easy service Rivals could provide.
