Let me start with the basic fact that you can only have 9 full time asst. coaches...BJ + 9
Assuming Jancek does not go to CMU we have on defense 4 coaches JJ-Thig-Strip-Martinez.
On offense we have AZZ-Elder-RG-Mahoney(4)...+ an OC (?)
If Debord comes on, we need a QC...if we promote AZZ to Co-OC & he stays WR coach, we short a QC asst...that would require an addit'l coach ( now we at 10)
If Butch wants to keep AZZ by promotion under Debord's tutelage our only way, numbers wise to have an QC, is too have a GA perform this job.
In short, Debord does not fill the OC/QC vacancy without additional staff....the only way under this
circumstance, is Debord would have to also pull OL duty & Mahoney has been with Butch from the start...can anyone explain?
