No, I am not blind and know that CBJ has made some mistakes this year. There is not a coach out there that hasn't ever made a bad call in a game. Even Saban has and one not only cost them a game but a shot at a NC that year. Seems like everyone but Saban knew that he should have expected the missed FG to be returned. There was a good chance the kick wouldn't even make it to the goal line. Saban has even said that there has been times since he has been at Bama that the fan base was upset with him. I just saw something a couple days ago where he was talking about times the fans were ready to bury him. Coaches make mistakes and some of the ones our fans are ranting about could be argued they weren't mistakes at all.

I know people say the youth excuse is just that and injuries happen to every team. Too a point both are true, but it is also true that part of our problem is our youth and lack of experience. We have to be one of if not the youngest football teams in all college football and no matter what you may think, plays a role in some of our mistakes. Injuries happen to every team, but our injuries have hit us In places we least could afford them and another reason for some of our poor play.

The real talent of our team is in our Fresh and Soph players. Youth is a good thing but playing youth in the SEC will be a weakness of a team. When these players are Jr and Sr, I have no doubt we will win a SEC title. If you watch our losses, or even our wins, the players left over from Dooley are involved in the plays we get beat on. We have what will be one of the best OLs in the SEC. They are just Fr and Soph right now and need a couple years in the weight room. The SEC is no place to be playing Fr and Soph linemen on either side, but we are left with no choice and is what I think is the biggest single weakness on our team. It will pay off big in the long run but is kicking us in the butt right now. Dooley really screwed us in this area(2012). I think Dobbs would make better throws if he had more time and having to run for his life wasn't in the back of his mind on each snap. If you watch the games and pay attention to the WRs, they are getting open for the most part. Now we do have one who isnt giving his best effort at all times. But they are doing their part for the most part, it's just our QB don't have the time on most plays to get them the ball.

Our DBs are giving up way too many big plays. Our safeties are a big part of why. One of the mistakes I do think the coach is making is not having TKJ in on every play. He's by far our best S. Our D line need to help them out by making the QB throw the ball sooner.

Giving up big plays on D and our OL is the biggest reason we are not 5-0 right now. For the most part CBJ is doing a good job and is getting way too much blame. I'm not saying he is perfect but he is not totally to blame for our losses. We are getting better each year. Some people on here just had to high of expectitations for this year. This was always at least a 4 year rebuild. Dooley left us in such bad shape that no one wanted to take the job. I think we got very lucky with CBJ. I know some say loosing close games ain't good enough but look from where we have come. Good teams killed us last year. So why would anyone think in one year we could turn the tables and walk into the SEC championship game. That is our next step. We are competing now and winning is next. One big win and we will be on our way. Our players need to learn how to close games out and once they do, the sky is the limit with our talent CBJ has go to come here. He is nowhere near as bad a coach as some on here say. It was always just gonna take time and more time than some were willing to give. So we need to do our part and get behind our coach and team, show up to the games. I just hope people don't stop coming to the games because our team isn't where they wanted them to be by now. We should win together and lose together. Our team don't need it's fans against them because they have enough people wanting to see them fail. I may be way off base with what I just posted, but I am not ready for another coaching search right now and don't believe one is needed. If we change coaches every 3 years, we will never have a Champioship quality team. Changing coaches this time shouldn't even be discussed until after year 5 of this rebuild. But I think at the end of year 5, CBJ will be having people in Tennessee naming their babies after him. He is a good coach, but just needs to be given the time to complete what he has started. Too bad some of our fans can't see the good he is doing here. Go Vols!!!
