As a fan, I absolutely hope that Colton Jumper can play MLB in the SEC and be effective. If he is going to be the starter until DK returns, I wish him the best of luck and will 100% pull for him. I hope he makes plays and gets the job done. He is a great story and great kid no doubt.
I am sure he will make some mistakes. I hope he can quickly learn from them and not make the same mistake on a consistent basis.
As a Vol fan, he has my support until he shows he still cant do it.
I understand his previous game play has shown him getting wrecked on every play by the other teams fat OL but maybe he has improved his ability to be effective. Apparently, the coaches believe he is the best option. Its certainly not worth getting fired over, so he must be the best option for whatever reason.
