Not sure you'll remember, but my name is Kevin Simon. Former University of Tennessee
football player from 2001 ‐ 2005. After a brief stint with the Washington Redskins in 2006,
was hired by Coach Fulmer as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in 2007. Served UT as
Graduate Assistant Coach with football in 2008. And spent the past 9 years, as a NFL Scout
with the Dallas Cowboys & currently Atlanta Falcons. Since arriving in Knoxville from De La
Salle High School in Concord, CA in 2001, I've remained intimately associated with our football
program for the past 16 year, gaining unique perspective from behind the scenes. Time spent
on Coach Fulmer's staff was particularly enlightening, understanding the football operation
dynamic which led to Coach Fulmer's demise. Scouting in the NFL has provided uncommon
access to build close relationships with Lane Kiffin's, Derek Dooley's & members of Butch
Jones' coaching staffs. Those conversations conversations have shed light on the challenges
they've faced. Also studied & acquired broad knowledge of many different coaching tree
Offensive and/or Defensive philosophies from various staffs across the country in College &
NFL. I Love my Alma Mater. Willing to serve you in anyway possible during this process.
