...set in 2000, when our front seven included Rashad Moore, Will Overstreet, DeAngelo Lloyd, John Henderson, Albert Haynesworth, Constantine Ritzman, Eddie Moore, Anthony Sessions, Kevin Burnett, and Eric Westmoreland.
This squad had 35 sacks, in 2014; a year in which we had little inside push/presence.
Knowing what we know about the improved strength of inside players like Owen Williams and Kendall Vickers, plus the (admittedly early) hype surrounding Tuttle and McKenzie...along w/ the outside additions of Kyle Phillips, Darrell Taylor and Andrew Butcher (if healthy)...is it possible that this team could approach that record of 50 sacks in a season?
It blows my mind that we had 17....SEVENTEEN...sacks in the entirety of the 2012 season, and we might be on the cusp of approaching our team record of 50, just three seasons later.
