Why is everyone set on Blackburn being the new AD? This isn't a knock on him or anything, I just wonder why he appears to be the overwhelming favorite among fans.
Is it because he's a TN guy and knows the program? Is there a belief he can do what Hamilton and Hart failed to do and get our programs competing for championships at a high level again? Can he talk the leadership at TN into investing more into coaches salaries? Is he willing to accept nothing less than the best from the coaches of all our programs?
Again, I have no agenda with asking this question, I'm just curious as to why everyone thinks Blackburn is a home run hire.
