OK, before all of the wiseass comments on age/etc , I'll admit to starting my TV viewing career on a black and white tube TV. The three major stations signed off at 11pm. We didn't have a color TV until I was a teenager. And, to further my low tech persona, I did my physics class at UT using a slide rule.
So, I am old and dumb. Now to the root of the problem. I have to work on Saturday and will not be able to watch or listen to the game. I was aware that the tape VCRs went the way of the dodo bird a while back. I guess I assumed that a similar device using CDs or some other digital recording deal had taken their place. I am now being told my more up to date daughter that there is no such device out there. I am told that to record a broadcast program I have to sign up with Comcast for some type of recording/playback capability.
Is that correct, or is their something out there that I can buy to record the game? I hate to give Comcast another penny if I don't have to.
Thanks!
