Ab 4400 new cases in US discovered today (as of right now). 190 total deaths (RIP).
But the good news is that the negative to positive ratio is holding, as we got 30 odd thousand negative results back today to go w those 4400 positives.
But the best news is that 1) our mortality rate will dip BELOW 1 percent tomorrow, almost certainly for good as treatments are found, and 2) all these test numbers are really Monday/Tuesday activity levels as the results take time to receive for reporting..
As of today, we are doing what America does and going big. Expect that upwards of 50,000 to 60,0000 tests were initiated today and that number will only keep growing by tens of thousands per day.
2 million tests are said to be available for the states/HC sector to conduct next week alone.
If we all sit still, and keep testing, we will rapidly expand our testing and identification capabilities beyond the rate at which this virus can grow on its own. Lets hope these treatments buy us time to drive that mortality rate down to flu levels or below
