I have family in town for the week so I've had a beer or 2, but it's almost damn football time in Tennessee!
I'm 25 years old and my first memories was Peyton's senior year. I was 6. Of course I became spoiled the next 4 years and growing up in Georgia talking sh!t to my uga friends was commonplace. I remember in the early to mid-2000s I would read the Macon-Telegraph sports page and see us ranked pre-season 13th and I was embarrassed to go to school. Then it just got lower and lower until it became normal to suck at football. My uga buddies would talk sh!t (as they do no matter how bad they are), even when we spanked their ass in 2007 and 2009.
Being a UT fan is everything to me. Of course I have my job and I'm getting married soon. Life is fantastic outside of my UT football world. My fiancé makes fun of me all the time about my UT football obsession. But damn us being relevant again makes me feel like an 8 year old on Christmas morning. I'm watching UT hype videos on repeat and thinking about what kind of exotic blitzes Bob freaking Shoop will come up with to brat Florida in Neyland.
