Second Quarter: Tennessee 35, South Alabama 7
D3 (TN) -13: 8 plays, 87 yards, 2:28………TOUCHDOWN
After a first down, Vols faced 3rd & 11. Hooker looked to be bottled up, but breaks one tackle and side steps another for first down run of 15 yards. That’s the first of four plays of at least 12 yards to end the drive. Vols score on a wide open Cedric Tillman on the slant for 27 yards…….TOUCHDOWN, Vols 21-0

D5 (USA) -25: 10 plays, 75 yards, 5:05……..TOUCHDOWN
The Jags picked up a first down before sending the punt team back out on 4th & 6 at their own 41. This is prime fake time with this field position – plus down 28 to a Power 5 school. Gallmon takes the direct snap for the pickup of 26 yards. Slaughter has to make that play – Mohan can’t get pushed. The fake punt conversion led to a touchdown as Jalen Wayne hauled in 27 yard catch (again on Burrell, again with a push off). Lincoln Sefcik scores on the drag….TOUCHDOWN, Vols 28-7
(TN) – Velus Jones returns kickoff back for TOUCHDOWN (96yds)
Great patience and visions to wait for blockers and know when to cut back in and out. Vols up 35-7
D6 (USA) -25: 3 plays, 2 yards, 1:04……….PUNT (Brooks, 30 yds)
Theo another great job of beating block to tackle swing pass for short gain. He played a great game. Nothing doing for USA as it punts.
