has this cat that sleeps next to her bed every night for past 8 years.. I mean thick as mud those two and all this time she says 'come on sweety its time for bed" and lovenly picks him up to snug him in his bed.. Its a strict nightly routine that her cat most times just heads off to bed..
Well last night my little sweet girl walks in - and goes to pick-up the cat like normal but he decided he wanted to play before bed- He darts around the house playing hide and seek for awhile- a game they have played many times before with much joy and laughter. This night was no different except one small thing.. With no ill or mal intent or shame i hear my sweet girl laughing as she finally catches him and says " come -on you little bastard its time for bed" to which i was like what did she say so i ask to make sure my ears heard right. She looked at me with all innocents and she repeats " i called him my little bastard. But this time she said it all sheepy because of the shock on my face.. She 100% called him her little bastard as a show of love..
I looked at her mom and said you have to stop calling me your little bastard !
