6 minutes left in the game and Florida with the ball on their own end. It's second and 9 and they throw a pass to the flat that goes for 8 yards. Player tackled in bounds. Clock stops at 5:51 for a LONG period of time while Butch is going crazy (according to Gary D.) on the sidelines. Meanwhile Gary and Vern are clueless as to why Butch is going crazy and continue to talk for what seemed like two minutes about nothing. Then without any explanation, Florida runs up to the line, gets set, and the clock starts and they snap the ball.
I thought maybe they called a timeout but when i watched it over again, Florida had two timeouts and they still had two timeouts after that (at least according to CBS). What gives?????
