What is the value/purpose of trashing a kid once he leaves the program? It happens all the time in the GQ when former players have quit/transferred from the football/basketball programs.
I don't know Preston Williams personally and I doubt many here do , so who can definitively say what his reasons are. Sometimes things don't work out, that doesn't make him a punk/loser. Not everyone is going to make it as a Vol, so I hope PW succeeds in life wherever he lands whether it be Juco/FCS or otherwise.
Malik Jackson wasn't a loser when he decided to transfer from USC (albeit under different circumstances); he made a hell of business decision for himself that paid off. I wish PW well...don't understand why others can't do the same instead of taking it personally and trashing him.
