When I was a kid the Bronx Bombers (Yankees) played mostly day games as did everyone else. They had what they called 5 O'Clock Lightning which was in the latter innings of a game and they exploded for winning runs. The reason was they were so good they kept pressure on the other team all game long, and when the pitcher lost just little, they went to work. Remind you of anyone.
