Of the SEC head coaches, 7 came from the offensive side, and 7 from the defensive side. Those from the offensive side are 23-19 against those from the defensive side. Added to that, 4 from an offensive background are new head coaches this year and Saban's undefeated record skews it a bit. I wonder if lack of spring practice and Covid have hurt defenses more?
