Not saying I agree or disagree with him sitting out the bowl game, however dont blame him at all. My concern or question is with college football heading to the final 4 is all that matters in the post season the bowl games are becoming less and less significant. Will we see more potential 1st round picks choosing not to play in meaningless bowl games in future years? Should we? Take the LB at Notre Dame last year who got hurt in their bowl game and cost him millions.. I personally wouldnt hold it against Barnett and Kamara if they choose to sit out. It is more adventageous for the football program have a top 10 pick than win a bowl game as far as recruiting goes IMO.. And with Kamara to see someone this close to reaching a dream of playing in NFL and becoming a millionaire to risk that for a bowl game? Now those are just examples of Tennessee players but does anyone else see the possability that this could be headed that way for players in future years? And what are your thoughts?
