It's really hard to be disappointed losing tonight when my thought going into the season was that we were going to be a bubble team and just hope to get in the tourney. But that's what Barnes did. He coached this team to an SEC title and raised our expectations. So yeah, I'm disappointed. As another poster said, it's reminiscent of when we lost to OSU. We could see a path that led to the Final Four. It was there for the taking.
As we move towards next year, I'm excited that we return just about our entire roster. Hopefully we can add Simons. Also, I know Rick is pretty old school but I'm anxious to see if he will let this team play faster next year. I think this lineup is one that is tailor made for a quick moving, open space kind of style. If quick open shots aren't there, we still have the post play we can run through.
