I went into Spring Practice, like many probably did on this board, thinking the Vols would be better off if Harrison Bailey started to push JG out as the starting QB. With the cancellation of Spring Practice, a lot of things change for football teams across the country.
Having a fifth year Senior QB (even as flawed as JG is) could be an advantage compared to many teams breaking in a new QB (See UGA). I still would not be surprised if HB is starting by the end of this season, but I suspect at some point this year, we will be glad JG is on the team.
