Wife is a nurse manager at a hospital in Nashville. She’s working 14 hour days every day trying to keep this shit from taking over the city. The hospital has two pediatric surgeons and both have tested positive for Covid. The balance between public health concerns and HIPPA is a real challenge. The fact that I know about the doctors is a HIPPA violation as a matter of fact. These are challenges that we are dealing with that I’m sure they don’t deal with in China. Anyway, as I’m on my second week off and people are losing their jobs because of this, remember those who are working seemingly nonstop. BTW, I heard that they need “screeners” at the hospitals to man the the entrances, take temps, and turn people away. Not sure what the pay is but it’s a paying a gig.
