according to a TOS article included in today's KNS, Higgins reportedly said he got caught up in the moment and briefly thought about joining the commitment parade on OCD.
He said that he ultimately decided to wait and make the decision after visiting Clemson again on July 22 and Ohio State at some point this summer.
He stated again that UT is still the leader but he also had good things to say about Clemson after visiting last week prior to attending OCD.
The final paragraph in the article notes that Higgins said that he doesn't know when he will announce his college choice but he didn't rule out making that announcement before the end of summer.
I just thought it was interesting - and encouraging as a Vol fan - that Higgins reportedly admitted that he considered re-committing to Tennessee on Saturday.
***** Higgins also said in the article that he spent time with Josh Malone and Maleik Gray on his UT visit and that both are doing a good job recruiting for the Vols.
By the way, I just checked Gray's ranking on 247 and see that he is the #4 player in the state of Tennessee and #59 overall nationally in the composite ranking. I didn't realize that Gray was ranked that much higher on that site.
