Here's a short excerpt from a story in the Naples Herald.

[Bill Kramer, his head coach, reciprocated that his starting back is indeed atop the ranks of the most dynamically gifted he has ever coached. That short list includes Carlos Hyde, the former Ohio State Buckeye and current San Francisco 49er’s starting running back.]

In last week's warm-up game, he had 6 carries for 72 yards (a 12.0 ypc avg). Naples cruised to a 41-0 victory, which is why he played so sparingly. His squad will take on Delray Beach-American Heritage tonight (not Plantation American Heritage who just beat IMG).

I would expect that if he can have a respectable night against a team as stout as Heritage, then several recruiting analysts will be forced to take notice.

You can read the rest of the story with his coach here:

It's worth noting that Hyde rushed for nearly 3200 yards in his Buckeye career, before being drafted in the 2nd round by the 49ers.

They're certainly different runners, but it's also encouraging to hear a HOF coach like Kramer also mention in the same story that Fils-Aime is as good as any back he's ever had at finishing runs. Fils-Aime seems to have a step on Hyde as well, who was electronically timed at 4.66 during the NFL combine testing.

One more note in the wake of the Preston Williams story---Kramer told ESPN in March that Fils-Aime is already academically qualified for college.
