We need a new DB coach...
I hope there is a shakeup on the staff, but where do you start. Probably with Martinez, his group was our achilles heel all year, and I don't believe the talent level is as bad as coaching.
We need a QB coach... with our inexperience at QB, we need a Cutcliffe to turn potential into reality...
We need an new OLine coach... again develop the talent
We need a new OC... Debord not consistent with calls in critical situations, "mystifying", some of those calls...
I would be OK with all the above changes, they are necessary to reach our potential....
The big question with me is what's the deal with Thig? All we heard early on was what a great recruiter he is and that he was a capable coach as well. The trend with his charges has not been going in the right direction. I have legitimate questions about his ability to develop his group to their potential but... maybe he gets a pass due to injuries this year.
I am not on here every day and maybe I missed it, but what's the deal with him pissing in the Middle Tennessee punchbowl. Specifics, if anyone really knows. What did he do or not do to change our situation with recruits/coaches/families? If his credibility is gone, we need to show him the door as well.
This is such a critical time for our program I hope Butch will make the necessary moves to keep the ball rolling!
