I live in Memphis and have many Ole Miss friends. I can tell you this. They made a fVck ton of $$ and had more excitement and support in the modern history of that program. Some cons too during that era w/ NCAA. Godfrey is out of his mind if he doesn't think we will tell the NCAA to beat it if they come sniffing around. NCAA landscape has changed significantly in just the last year too. To Godfrey's point, the reward FAR outweighs the risk for this program to potentially hire Freeze if you're looking at his past results, proven SEC success in recruiting (yes beating Bama too) and getting financials back.
Luke Ficknell, Matt Campbell, or Hugh Freeze? Is he serious??
I'm not saying we fahr JP but one can pull the trigger immediately if you're analyzing future financials. Wasn't it the Florida AD who once said, and I am paraphrasing, "if its inevitable you are going to fire someone, you do it"? He fired Zook and hired Urban.
Think about that comparison.
