Yes, I know that this post will get negative reviews from GQ. I don't care.

Like everyone else on this planet Fulmer made good decisions and decisions that were not so good. For the critics, please name a Power 5 coach who has never made a bad decision about whether to offer a player a scholarship.

Who do you think was Johnny Majors' best recruiting assistant and the offensive coordinator during some of his best later career at UT?

Who do you think was the best offensive line coach UT has had in the modern era?

Name any coach, other than Fulmer, whose team has won a national championship for UT football since 1951.

Do you realize that due to top down budget restrictions Fulmer could not really hire the OC he wanted the season before he was canned?

Do you think that Johnny Chavis was a better choice for DC who helped carry UT to the National championship or do you think Fulmer should have chosen the people's choice, Mike Dubose?

Have you read the posts on this web site that said Fulmer wanted to hire Tucker rather than Pruitt??

Name a HC who has done more for UT football than Fulmer since 1952.

Yes, Fulmer, likes to get paid. Compare what he has been paid to others who have served in his positions. It is very hard to compare the good will that Coach Fulmer has generated for the program. He does the right things.

I know someone very well who worked for East Tennessee Children's Hospital in the years after Fulmer was fired, before he was AD or had any paid role with UT. East Tennessee Children's Hospital serves all children, regardless of their parent's financial means, regardless of how dire their condition may be (unlike research hospitals that only accept patients who may have a chance of survival). ETCH tries to grant a last wish to children who are dying. So the dying child, who literally had hours to live, wanted to have a visit from the then current UT football coach to come, urgently. ETCH contacted the current coach and he would not come. I don't know why, maybe a good reason. So, ETCH had someone who knew Fulmer and they contacted him. He was at ETCH in 30 minutes, met with the dying child, brought him souvenirs, including an autographed football and tried to fulfill the child's dying wish, in the place of UT's current coach.

Please name a coach who has been more successful at UT since 1955, overall.

Please name a coach who has done more from a public relations standpoint than Fulmer.

Finally, if you are over 55 years old, please post in response if you have never made a mistake, never made a decision you regret and would like to do over, especially if you have divorced.

Fulmer has faults. I wish he had made different decisions in some instances. Respond if you think you have no faults.

No, I am not Mrs. Fulmer or Phillip Fulmer.
