the scenes stuff going on at Tennessee, mainly because there’s nothing I can do about it. I have been disappointed in the last 15 years, but I again, nothing I can do about it.
But, every time they run through the power T, every time we take the field I always feel like we can win. I’m not a donor and rarely make a game, but I’ve been so invested emotionally over the past 60+ years that Tennessee football is now ingrained in my DNA.
I use to get so upset with a loss that I once threw a beer bottle through my TV. I’m pretty sure that my love for Tennessee football has at least played a part in my failed marriages.
I still hate it when we lose, but the hangover doesn’t last as long.
I don’t care who the QB is because I’m not a coach and will not pretend to know more than they do.
All that to say that I love the Vols and my glass is plum full. At 74 I still believe we will compete for SEC titles before I kick.
