Are we recruiting mens field hockey players and then FedEx’ing them a football instruction handbook?

Why in the world, in year one, if none of our QBs could play didnt you just “process“ them, and then Offer a clear spot to either a transfer or recruit a serviceable QB, and just go with them...broadcasting to fans and everyone then, “hey we are going with this guy now...this is it, hang on it could be a rough ride..”

I just don’t understand how we can look so disorganized, undisciplined, and quite frankly...stupid.
Its not just QB. It’s situational awareness with subs, and the preparation.

How in the world can you possibly allow not having Maurer, Shrout and Bailey not each game ready by week 2? Do we have lights in our indoor practice facility? Take your ass over there every night, every Sunday... with one first team receiver and two backups, a skeleton crew of defensive players... and run the playbook til your fingertips bleed. He should’ve been here day one with some pretty deep familiarity with the playbook and ready to get grilled by the positions coach over tons of different scenarios: what do you call here and here, and here, and why?
This is Div 1 football. We are weak at the QB position. We were going to need someone to step up at some point and to not be more prepared....Thats absolute FKN bullshit.
