I wonder what Schiano's class would have looked like?

I really don't know what everyone expected.

After an 4-8 (0-8 SEC) season and an embarassing coaching search, we were way above our heads on most of these recruits. When you're going against Alabama, Georgia, even South Carolina, all they had to say was "scoreboard!".

Butch had nothing left to sell. He was already losing players left and right. We would have lost everyone of value.

Schiano had no connections in the South. We would have had a bunch of northern transplants.

I'm very disappointed. And I'm not into moral victories. But in December, before hiring Pruitt, I had written off the next 5 years of the program. From where we were then to where we are now is somewhat remarkable.
