not saying that we didn’t have a stellar body of work, but this was a veteran team, that executed a game plan that will be the blueprint on how to beat this team.

I’m not going to bet up on the guy that was covering Custer, but you either foul him or block the shot. He played him like he was shooting a three pointer. Even if you foul him, and he hits both shots, you have time to set up a play.

I also can’t believ that their big white freshman can isolate anyone we put on him, and Grant gets doubled, and for brief seconds, tripled. As good as he is, once he gets two long bodies in him, he can’t see to find the open guy on the perimeter.


Tough loss, UT I’m going to give Loyola’s staff a shit ton of credit, and even more to the veteran players that execute it. If we had just one player like Custer, who can shoot, and find the open man. we’d be a tough outz
