If I could choose which eight to win, I'd pick:
1-BGSU...can't lose an opener in Nashville to a lesser opponent
2-Western Carolina...gotta have this gimme
3-UF...have to stop this streak, especially while they're down and have a new coach
4-UGA...we've been the better team the last two games, need this win to prove it
5-Bama...would go 1-11 to beat them
6-UK...Butch is about to run off another 30 year run
7-SC...put Spurrier on retirement watch
8-Vandy...gotta beat little brother
Yes, I know I'm leaving a gimme on the table in North Texas, but wouldn't you rather have a win over Bama? Every Vol fan should say "yes" to that. And I feel bad leaving the OU game off, but the SEC games are just more important and I can't give up another paid win like Western Carolina. This list makes us 6-2 in the SEC, with a decent shot at winning the East.
Of course, I'd prefer to grab 9 or 10 wins this year, but this makes it hard to pick. Thoughts?
