My white (has to be white to go with ORANGE) SUV has 6 flags, 8 magnets, 4 TN valve covers, 1 TN auto emblem, 6 shakers out the back hatch window, a personalized TNVOL82 license plate, and a front TN license plate on it. I've written #WGWTFA!!!! on the back glass.
I'm packed. The beer (and Powerade-no Gatorade for me-for the Sunday morning hangover) are on ice. My White TN shirt (I'm in section F-white), my Smokey Gray shorts, my TN socks, my TN underwear, and my ORANGE and white shoes are laid out.
I'm ready for the 4 hour drive HOME. I'm excited, anxious, nervous, confident, hopeful, worried, and a ton of other adjectives. I'm on Bud-Light #4.
I think I'm a realist. A lot of you call me names and a NegaVol. Oh well. Frankly, it's been hard for me thru the first three games and 9 years. TN is my passion. I want to win sooooo bad. I hope that CBJ has us in position, I have serious doubts, but if you've read my posts, you know that.
Anyway, tonight and tomorrow we're all VFL's. Me and my 29 year old son will be singing Rocky Top a good bit during the ride tomorrow. I pray (is it wrong to ask for Divine intervention?) we'll be singing well into Sunday morning. As Dale would say, "I love you guys".
