Before hating on this... I think he needs to do a press conference and apologize for his attitude towards the fans and media the last few weeks and say that he loves TN, this job, and is committed to winnning championships at UT. It would go a long ways in damage control to show some humility and love.
With that said..
Dobbs - way too many turnovers. Do we lose A&M, SC, and Candy if we remove some of the untimely turnovers. I love Josh. He's won games for us almost singlehandedly. But he led the country in fumbles and led the SEC in interceptions. Remember maxim 1
Injuries - won't go there. It hurt our team but we should still have been talented enough to beat SC and Candy.
Missed field goals - Medley missed field goal against Candy not only kept us from scoring but also influenced the decision to go for it on 4th down at the end. Butch has been roasted for going for it when we needed 2 scores, but do you really expect Medley to make a clutch FG?
Shoop - should have been allowed to bring in his own assitants. Sounds like turmoil between thig/Martinez and Shoop. This is on butch as he is the overseer.
Overall, I'd love to see Butch fix this and win back the fan base. Overcoming adversity makes victory sweeter. Or bring in Gruden or Kiffen! Just kidding... Kinda.
