Some of the College GameDay crew spoke with local media this morning at Ayers Hall. We were told that Reece Davis was coming from a coaches meeting with Heupel. When asked about a player (besides the QBs) that he thinks will need to have an impact tomorrow, his answer was Jalin Hyatt.
The full quote: “Probably Hyatt for Tennessee. He’s gonna have to make some big plays for them tomorrow, some explosive plays…”
Just thought that was an interesting answer given the uncertainty surrounding Cedric Tillman’s availability tomorrow and the fact that Davis was coming from a meeting with Heupel.
