For the first time since Butch has been the head coach of the Vols, there is not a real open competition for the starting QB position. The position is settled by a returning starter with real game experience in the SEC. Yet, I see on VQ, a bunch of posters seemingly eager to have said returning starter, removed from his post and replaced by a true freshman. Astounding.
