Just one game but Buchanan looked like one of the top 2 DBs on our team

Maybe his guy got open a bunch and the QB just wasn't looking that way. I don't know. I wasn't at the game so I couldn't see. But the times he was tested, he was right there.

So why did it take Sutton going down and a lack of depth at CB for Buchanan to get on the field? All we heard in fall camp was the staff raving about the kid. Seemed like Ohio could tell he was the better CB on the field yesterday. After testing him right away, they continually went at Moseley.

So what gives? I've heard people say this staff is afraid of losing instead of playing to win. Maybe there's something to that. Should Warrior be on the field more? What about the many young guys that are supposedly so talented but can't get on the field? I know it's natural to think the backup guys are great. It happens at QB and it happens with "highly rated freshmen".

So what gives @Brent_Hubbs and @P_Fortenberry ? What are your thoughts on why we would watch Moseley continue to struggle instead of Buchanan. What are your thoughts at LB? Overrated recruits or staff just afraid to try someone that might make a mistake? Same on the OL.
