(Note: what happened Saturday was not the worst thing I've seen, and not really all that bad in my mind, but I want some of the old folks on this site to understand that young people tend to view things a little more extremely)
that the kids around him were referring to the end of the game Saturday as a "riot" and a couple said they weren't sure they wanted to attend any games now. Is it a dumb point-of-view? Of course it is. But that's what the kids at his table were saying. He said he didn't hear anyone else talk about the game the rest of the day, but there was at least a small group of kids at Karns who were not only turned off by event, but actually expressed fear about attending a game. No, DeSean Bishop wasn't one of them, but two of them are actually starters on the football team.
When adults behave badly, it terrifies some children--even 16-year-old children. That's just something for those of us who are condoning the behavior to think about.
