Fans of other schools may be as bad or worse than the "negative nellies" who post on this site.
I don't know.
But I do know that true supporters of politicians, schools or anything else are going to look for the positive, emphasize the positive and try to put their side in the best light.
In extreme cases that may not be possible even for the best of fans.
But it is possible to wreck a team, a coach, a program by constant carping and negativity.
Criticism can be positive but many of the critics don't appear to be trying to be helpful.
Butch may not be Vince Lombardi or Bear Bryant but he sure isn't Lane Kiffin or Derrick Dooley or
Sal Sunseri.
Be grateful for what we have and try to help them be better.
Before you start attacking me let me tell you that I am 80 years old and have been a loyal Big Orange fan through both good and bad times for over sixty years.
If we pull together and support our guys they have a better chance of being successful. I for one
don't want to do anything that hurts my team.
