I hate to even mention it, and I know the Weekly's wont commit, but I think the umps had a part of this loss. The behind the plate ump would simply not call a pitch at the knees a strike all night. Our pitchers were flustered and had to throw up in the zone which contributed to the hard hits. And of course LSU got away with murder when they allowed their runner a 2 step head start on a throw to the plate. I can't believe the first base ump missed that one leading to a run by LSU. But the miscues by our fielding and 3 errors finished us off.
