Mechanics... Question about noise my car is making.

Is there any reason I would hear the screeching sound brakes make when grinding against the rotars by just making a right hand turn. Getting it checked tomorrow... Could it just be I need new brakes? The noise stops when I press the brakes while making a turn. Thanks.
