This is something to think about. If you have a child in school sports you should seriously consider remote learning.

If they get the dreaded "exposed" letter, whether they were really exposed or not they can NOT go back to school or participate for 14 days. That's two games.

The state is not following the CDC on this with the option of a test 5 days after exposure possibly letting them get back into class/sports with a negative test. They are just going strictly with a 14 day quarantine for whatever they deem "exposed". Many times they are just asking the kid that is positive who they have been around. The positive kid gets 10 days.

So you can't control who your child is around at school. If you don't want them to miss 14 days because they shared home room with Johnny then you may want to consider doing remote learning so they are only around you and their team mates. If I were a coach I would ask all my athletes to do this.
