First, I was at the game, and will be at the Bristol game even thought after the 3rd quarter I was questioning myself. Through camp in August I like most Vol fans read as much information on Tennessee football I could get my hands on. My take on this August vs previous August camps there was a significant difference. Lack of hitting, only one scrimmage, and many key players in green jersey's. So fast forward to last night, my take is our guys were just not ready for the speed of live real football. The speed, and hitting. It caused fumbles, our lines were caught flat footed.
I just don't think they were game time real football ready. Again my two cents.
