I’ve got to be honest... I don’t get it. I’ve held back week after week after week... I don’t want to rush to judgment or place blame completely on coaches without fully considering factors that are outside of their control. Playing Georgia and Alabama is one thing... the talent gap is clear as day... Outside of that, Kentucky was a huge red flag. Tonight, however, was unacceptable. Simply put, we are a much more talented team than the level we are playing to. To have the best QB prospect of the last two decades on our roster right now and only give him mop up duty is just baffling. Why even put him in the game if you are just going to hand the ball off three consecutive times and let him take a desperation shot on 4th down? That’s not protecting your freshman QB... that’s handicapping him.
