Please tell me we've offered this kid too!??! Scott Howard - He plays...like an animal. As evidenced in the below .gifs, he's the total package. Ball skills, ups, leadership...both on the court and off. He really has an innate ability to just take over a game. We need this kid.
I mean...I realize he's probably a one and done. But think of the instant credibility he brings to our class. For Christ's sake...he can even spin the ball on his finger!
For a while he was a lil bit of a ball hog...but he's really come a long way as an unselfish team player. They finally beat the Dragons and won the city championship last year. I'm thinking that maybe if Barnes offered his teammate, a pretty big time Power Forward in his own right, we might have a shot at snagging him from Bruce. Here's the HUDL film of his teammate...
Obviously he's better suited to play in the paint, but it's always nice to have a kid that can pop out to the top of the key when needed and hit a clutch shot or two. I like him.
He could be our own "round mound of rebound". You can see how he seems to get himself in perfect position to work the boards.
Hell...this Scotty Howard has even got a cousin who's an elite College Boxer. Does UT have a boxing team yet? He could transfer with the new graduate transfer rules. Anything we gotta do to snag this guy...maybe his gf could even find a spot in the Athletic Offices? Hell his dad owns a hardware store, maybe he could teach College "Shop" class? Does UT have a woodshop department? LMAO
